Twelve individuals had been rescued Saturday after two fishing boats carrying 15 crew members ran aground in waters off the southern resort island of Jeju, in response to the Coast Guard.
The Coast Guard mentioned it obtained stories {that a} 32-ton fishing boat carrying seven individuals and a 29-ton vessel with eight crew members had been stranded on a rock in waters off Jeju Island round 9:25 a.m.
As of 12:06 p.m., 12 crew members had been rescued. Of these, one member was reportedly in cardiac arrest.
Authorities are persevering with search operations for the three different crew members, in response to the Coast Guard. (Yonhap)
