Bong Joon-ho’s ‚Mickey 17‘ set for global premiere in Korea next month

Internationally acclaimed Korean director Bong Joon-ho’s new movie, „Mickey 17,“ is about to premiere in South Korea subsequent month, the movie’s distributor mentioned Friday.

The sci-fi fantasy will hit theaters Feb. 28 in Korea, adopted by a North American launch on March 7, in line with Warner Bros. Korea.

Starring Robert Pattinson and Steven Yeun, „Mickey 17“ is tailored from Edward Ashton’s novel „Mickey7,“ which revolves round a cloned area explorer despatched to an ice-covered planet.

It marks Bong’s first venture because the Oscar-winning „Parasite“ (2019).

Lead actor Pattinson is scheduled to go to South Korea on Jan. 20 for the primary time as a film star to advertise his newest movie. (Yonhap)
