The ground chief of the primary opposition Democratic Social gathering of Korea mentioned Wednesday that President Yoon Suk Yeol’s detention by investigators marked the „first step“ in restoring the nation’s constitutional order and democracy.

Rep. Park Chan-dae made the remarks after investigators detained Yoon earlier within the day over his short-lived imposition of martial legislation final month.

„(It) is step one to restoring the constitutional order and democracy, and upholding the rule of legislation,“ Park mentioned in a gathering of social gathering lawmakers.

Park known as Yoon a „critical legal,“ accusing him of violating the structure and the legislation by means of his martial legislation declaration on Dec. 3. (Yonhap)
