The Navy carried out maritime search and rescue drills Wednesday in waters off the nation’s jap coast as a part of an annual mixed train held between Korea and the US.

The train, which mobilized a P-3 maritime patrol plane, two UH-60 helicopters and two CARV-Ⅱ plane, was designed to coach troops to swiftly seek for and rescue wounded service members and switch them to a rear space whereas offering emergency care, in response to the Navy.

„The important thing of air search and rescue and medical assist will not be lacking the golden time to reinforce the survivability of the wounded,“ Col. Jang In-chul, commander of the 63rd Air Group, mentioned in a launch, vowing to step up related coaching.

The newest coaching was carried out at the side of the 11-day Freedom Defend train, which started Monday. (Yonhap)
