Samsung E&A, a Korean plant builder, mentioned Monday it has clinched a 2.48 trillion-won ($1.69 billion) methanol plant mission order from the United Arab Emirates (UAE).

The mission, commissioned by the Abu Dhabi Nationwide Oil Firm, often known as ADNOC, includes the engineering, procurement and building (EPC) of a plant able to producing 5,000 tons of methanol per day in an industrial zone in Ruwais.

Underneath the settlement, Samsung E&A plans to finish building inside 44 months.

Samsung E&A mentioned it plans to efficiently perform the mission by leveraging its expertise in a latest methanol plant mission in Malaysia and its in depth expertise from dealing with eight earlier tasks within the industrial zone within the UAE. (Yonhap)
